I have been reading a lot of educational books and articles as of late and it has given me a welcomed reminder of the qualities we should actively live out as school leaders. In Sir John Dunford's book ' The school leadership journey' (which I highly recommend reading) he describes school leadership as like 'watering the plants'. What a brilliant analogy! Sir Tim Brighouse also hit the nail on the head. As a leader we should look to live out the qualities listed below each day. Every action, every conversation and every interaction should promote them.
